Black + Latino = A one of a kind Izzy Mcfly

Image
Over a year ago, I had a chance to get to speak to  Izzy Mcfly, a half black half Latino artist with a one of a kind style, back in the day I was still in the most stable situation, unfortunately, it took me a while to make this write up due to circumstances which cannot be avoided.   It’s not common for a young artist to be able to build himself up nowadays, so here is how the conversation goes with Izzy.   1. A brief history and How long have you been in the business?   Izzy McFly - After a sad 2015 first semester of college, I was literally lost. No outlets for sports kicked off the football team, started messing up in class because I couldn’t concentrate; it took a big toll on me. In the second semester of college, I went in with a little less stress and an open mind. One day at my then roommate’s house off-campus, he and his boys decided to throw on beats to freestyle too. Going in rotation, I ended up saying a few things because I actually knew how to freestyle a l

Image
Dyshon Benson:  Photo by Jasen Hudson A man with a vision for the future of Pop and RnB, Dyshon Benson has been in the industry for over 25 years, joined the singing group Az Yet and now he's moved on and has gone solo.  I have been writing about artists for over a year or so and never I have thought I will get to meet this guy, all down to earth, kind, and a great listener, I am not saying this because he is a friend but I am just giving you a heads up on what it is like to be writing about Dyshon. I have made a personal interview a one on one with Dyshon and here is what he has to say about his newly released single and the future of what is to come for him. it's not so much but I have covered what needs to be asked by most of those who wish to know more about this new King. Why Have Decided to Go Solo? I felt it was time to do my own thing, creatively I felt that we were going in two different directions so it was time for me to explore areas in my talents that I would never

Tony Nollo: Can't Ignore Your Vision

Image
Its been a while since the last time I wrote up something but that is all because I was having a hard time looking for the right artist to fill in a spot in my blog and this month, since the day of the locksoqn I finally have spoken to a new Rap king, coming from Maryland, Tony Nollo is one talent I really can't ignore, he is in the group Nyne-7 as well as Thr33-P-E which means 3 Part Entity.  Tony has been creating music aince he was 15 years of age and thanks to his best friend's idea of introducing him to music, he never stopped hitting the beat ever since. His influences comes from personal experiences, the past, present, and the environment, plus the Midwest hiphop influences of the rap legends Bone Thugs and Harmony.  This is what built the artist that he is today.  His music has an appeal to both young and the young at heart. I have been lurking around the american rap artist industry for about 2 to 3 years now and I would say Tony is

I Remember:Jay Fresh Money

Image
I met Jay Fresh Money on Twitter, I am not too sure how but, its like I was drawn by the powers that be to be of help for this Gentleman from Detroit, Michigan, Legally known as Jerome Fulton,  a self-made man, with a talent that made men more than just special, he was made to be the king of his genre, or should I say Michigan's Best. Where does the name Jay Fresh Money come from?  His first harnessed talent was Dancing and people called him Jay short for his first name, when he started being good in dancing, his friends started calling him Jay Fresh, being a young made him do uncertain decisions an, as usual, he got into a little trouble here and there trying to make some cash for himself at that time. that's where the name Jay Fresh Money started. In the industry: He started when he was in his early 20;s that time he was young and unaware and technically had gotten into several fits. which caused all his plans to stop for the time being. He went into recording around

Rashaun Will: Built To Last

Image
Met this artist on Twitter, he was a fine gentleman from New York City, Rashaun Will is a rapper, songwriter, graphic artist, website builder.  Yes, he is one of those people who knows how to build himself from scratch, very one of a kind, why you say one of a kind? for a 36-year-old, he is single, no kids, no kids without his knowledge, hardly any vices, he drinks too few, lives a healthy life, lifts weights and most importantly he doesn't smoke or do things far beyond his idea of having fun. In 2017 his single hits the Billboard charts, and went on sabbatical the following year due to some personal issues, Rashaun used to manage and book other artists and has been in the business long enough for him to know the ropes and the how to's and stay there.  At the moment he has started making new music and is starting up on something new, clearly, this king is all about business and making that business go better. His brand name BTL or Built to Last an apparel website for b

Az Yet: the Voice, the Music, the Soul in R&B

Image
Az Yet:  Kenny Terry, Jr., Claud Thomas Jr., Patrice Smith, Dyshon Benson, Dion Allen Az Yet, has been in the music industry for over twenty (20) years we havent heard from them for quite some time and honestly yes I am a fan, when they was much younger  (well so am I), but frankly speaking I dont think anyone will ever forget these amazing gents when they sang the timeless hits of Peter Cetera and Babyface, strange as it may seem I still hear their music in the radio here in the Philippines. I wrote this Blog for everyone here in Southeast Asia to remember the most amazing boyband in the late 1990's, there are a few of the original members that had left the group, but I garantee this: the way they sang their songs is still very much flawless, I'll be posting the videos from the past and at present and tell me if I am wrong. if only I can give a rating for these guys it will always be five stars as in 100% still the best singers in the history of RnB. Just to let ever

Shank and Snype: Chaptabois of Chapta City

Image
Brothers Shank and Snype , born and raised in Houston Texas, calls themselves the Chaptabois ,   started making music 20 years ago, their music is known to most through several movies such as Lethal Weapon, South Paw, Rush Hours, Snitch and if you watch the NFL and even ESPN you probably  have heard of them there too. Not known to many but these fine Southern gents have been performing professionally for the last 15 years, I will be dropping some of their music videos and several links on where you my dear readers will get to hear more of them. They started out as the Final Chapter and since the third member of the group moved on to better pastures they have decided to change the name of the Final Chapter to Chaptabois, its a bit odd for me to think where in the world did they get the name of their team, luckily they granted me their time of day to go on video chat for me to be able to write about them, yes they are one of the most accommodating   and amazing  individuals I have
